About Madagascar

Madagascar, also known by many as the “eighth continent,” will make your jaw drop! This country boasts some of the most mesmerizing wildlife and plant species that you’ll ever see. Did you know that most of the plant species and wildlife found in Madascgar is endemic to the country? It’s honestly a nature lovers paradise.

What about the breathtaking landscapes? From the red highlands around the capital Antananarivo to the tropical rainforests in the east, and dry savanna areas with the largest rock formations in the south you’re bound to find something you enjoy! Not to mention the unique Tsingy plateaus, the beautiful tropical islands and of course, thousands of kilometres of the beautiful coast.

Madagascar has so much more to offer than lemurs, its culture and history are also something to experience. The island is a cultural melting pot and is made up of Arab traders, Bantu tribes from East Africa and European settlers. Not to mention, this country also has a history of pirates, arrr!
