Just a little bit different on safari
Many travellers who discover Tanzania want to explore the parks surrounding Arusha and Moshi. We are talking about the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. Read more about the Northern Safari Circuit in this blog. Of course, you can hop In a land cruiser, sit back and tour for about five days, but we like to make your route even more special!
Go canoeing, hiking or mountain biking on the route. It is possible in the Serengeti, but we do not recommend that among the wild. 😉 There are several options though; at Lake Manyara, you can, for example, take an adventurous mountain bike tour.
Between Arusha and Moshi, we found a place where you can kayak. From Moshi, there are several options for a nice walk through the untouched nature with fewer tourists. Click here to learn how we investigated the north of Tanzania to look beyond the famous wildlife parks!
Make it as crazy as you want. We think camping is the best option: you experience the wildlife day and night (with rangers who ensure that wildlife does not get too close). Imagine hearing the hyenas laugh at night, and when you unzip your tent at sunrise in the morning, you see the real Africa awakening!
If you find camping a bit too intense, we will find a comfortable lodge or a glamping option for you. A night less or extra in a place is always negotiable, you can set up your route.
Group safari, driver or self drive?
You can choose to go on a group safari, have fun with other travellers and of course share the costs! It is also possible to go out with a private driver and plan the trip according to your wishes. If you want to experience an off the beaten track and do a self-drive, that is still possible. Let us know, and we will arrange it! Plenty of options to give your Northern tour through Tanzania a special touch!
