GAME RESERVE FROM THE BOOK
Just as we love a number of super conservancies in Kenya, Erindi is also a game reserve from the book. This conservancy takes in many endangered species, monitors them closely and cares for them meticulously. More than 10 different types of projects are currently underway, whereby they take in and care for wildlife with a very low chance of survival, and ultimately release it back into the wild.
This well-organised park makes it very easy to spot wildlife here with self-drives. The park also offers various options to do game drives in a totally different way. What do you think of Bush Walks, Cheetah Walks, Tracking Game Drives or Night Game Drives, super cool experiences! The absolute surplus value of a conservancy compared to a normal national park is that you will not only spot wildlife, but that you can also learn a lot about it. The guides in these parks are so dedicated to these animals and can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about wildlife! David Attenborough is nothing like them!
You have luxury suites here for the big spenders and the ultimate glamping experiences for the adventurous survivalist (still mega luxurious). The accommodations within the Erindi Conservancy are fabulous. Not only because they are at your beck and call and pamper you with super delicious food, but also because the accommodations are located in the middle of the park and therefore the chance of spotting wildlife from your camping chair is very high! Watch your back!
