Kenya at its purest
Everyone knows the Masai. They are the figurehead of the African tribe: tall, slender and dressed in red robes. They are nomads, but most tribes live around the national parks where many tourists come. The tourism industry has commercialised them. Fortunately, a large part does not participate in this game either. And that part we can show you!
Raw, self-developed route
In 2015, Charlie rode his motorbike towards the Loita Hills, where he had arranged to meet a Loita Masai called Robert. A hilarious daredevil he met through a Masai friend. Together with Robert, the raw, off-the-beaten-track route was developed. A walk through varied and impressive nature: savannah, rainforest and desert.
How does it work?
The trek takes 3-5 days and is not for wimps. Together with our local Masai partner Robert, some other Masai warriors, a goat and some donkeys, you will make your way through the Loita Hills. Adventure, physical hardship, healthy exertion and satisfaction. The Masai warriors know how to protect you from wandering wildlife. At night, you sleep under the stars with the goat you brought along in your stomach. The trek is great to combine with our motorbike safari through the Magadi Desert!
